We trust all is well with you and yours. The LPA Board wants you to know that we have truly missed your cheerful enthusiasm as we have tried to reschedule our events. We’ve all gone through difficult moments during the past year and we missed the camaraderie and friendship to enjoy uplifting music together. Now we hope to change that!
Your friends on the Board are busy securing lively musical events for the 2021-2022 season. We’ll keep you updated through our newsletter and our website: https://lovelandperformingarts.org. For now, mark your calendars for 7 pm, November 8, 2021 in the Roberta Price Auditorium of Thompson Valley High, 1669 Eagle Dr. in Loveland. The price of tickets will be shared later this spring.
Masters of Soul will present a concert on the November date. They are an ensemble that LPA had contracted for our cancelled season and we’re fortunate they are still available. The group features ten musicians: three female singers, three male singers, and an instrumental quartet, giving a dynamic and dynamite tribute to the best music of Motown. You’ll experience many of your favorite songs, great costumes, and electric showmanship! A preview of possible songs in their program includes: My Girl, Stop in the Name of Love, Dancing in the Street, Ooooo Baby, Baby, or Dance to the Music. You’ll be dancing in your seat!
We are honored to have you as a member of Loveland Performing Arts. We hope you will continue your membership. If you haven’t attended our previous concerts, please join us! The details about ticket pricing will be available this spring, as soon as the additional concert ensembles are contracted. If the guidelines for pandemic spacing require spaced seating in November, season ticket holders from our cancelled 2020-2021 season will be given first priority to seating.
For now, mark Monday, November 8th on your calendar.
Let’s Keep in Touch and Keep Our Uplifting Musical Spirit in Loveland!
